The next village cafe will be held on Saturday 15th September. There will be a special cafe on the 8th of December in aid of the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust. There will be the usual great breakfast, run by the BRIDE VALLEY SCOUTS, a stall featuring WELDMAR Christmas cards and wrapping paper and, for the first time, a TABLE TENNISTHON. The Litton Table Tennis group meet at LATCH every Wednesday afternoon. We are a friendly group of mixed ability, very keen, growing steadily and now have 3 tables. We have invited The Puncknowle Table Tennis group to come and compete as part of the fundraising TABLE TENNISTHON.The aim is to play continuously for 365 minutes and 485 seconds i.e. from 10.am to 4.15 pm. Sponsorship is invited for each minute of play at £1.00 per minute and and 25p for each of the 485 seconds of play. We also invite everyone to have a go for as long as you can. Bats will be provided so no need to visit the loft!!Do come along, hone your skills and donate to a very good local cause which helps so many local people. Why not organise a Village Cafe for your project? We do not charge rental for the hall, so all funds raised are for you! Contact Wendy on 01308 82532 or email@example.com
